Originally from Lac Drolet, Marcel Robert, after three years of automotive technical school in Montreal, turned his passion for cars into a job and became a mechanic and then discovered the joy of offering personalized customer service when he bought his dealership.

Marcel Robert began his career in the automotive industry as a mechanic in 1959, at Morin Automobiles. A few years later, in 1967, he acquired the American Motors dealership. In 1973, the dealership was transformed with the addition of Jeep. In 1978, the Renault banner was introduced and finally the company became a Chrysler franchisee. In February 1998, Mr. Robert bought Morin Automobiles and became the only Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-RAM dealer in the Coaticook MRC. 2013 celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of this transaction. Already 15 years that the people of the region find the company in its current place of business.

In recent years, the company has added a string to its bow by developing an expertise in the modification of SRT performance cars.
